It has been more than 5 hours and Aryan was still sitting on his big, black revolving chair, taking deep puffs of cigar, occasionally rubbing his forehead and reading the email over and over again. He had to find a solution to this. He can’t let it go. Code red was not just another mission it was THE Mission of his life. It was his masterpiece, a mission that will go down in history as the worst attack ever.
“Alpha we desperately need an attacker who can manage to infiltrate a communication system and impersonate each endpoint to the satisfaction of each other. This can be done only if an attacker connects to an unencrypted wireless access point. The attacker can then intercept the information sent from an unsuspecting victim as well as the information they would be expecting to receive. This is particularly critical as our victims will be using online banking. Attacker can then view all the information being transferred to and from the bank. We can then spoof the bank website to siphon victim’s private details or to divert all payments made to their own account.”
As a matter of procedure Aryan would destroy the digital imprints of Code Red sensitive mails within minutes of receiving it but today he couldn’t. His mission was at stake. Brooding intensely he walked up to the intricately carved rosewood bar, poured himself another shot of Glen Fittich , stroked his French beard and rolled a cigar. He sat on the rocking chair and stared blankly at the stacks of books in his bookshelf. James Joyce, Faulkner, Geoffery Chaucer, Ayn Rand, Don DeLillo, Franz Kafka, and his favourite One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, nothing could inspire him today.

Lots of things can be fixed. But many times, relationships between two people cannot be fixed, because they should not be fixed. Tara was on a ship setting sail, and Shekhar had joined the inland circus, he is boarding a different ship, and they just can’t be with each other anymore.
“When things break, it’s not the actual breaking that prevents them from getting back together again. It’s because a little piece gets lost — the two remaining ends couldn’t fit together even if they wanted to. The whole shape has changed.”
Tara was lying on her back almost in the centre of the behemoth mahagony bed, staring aimlessly at the fan with her belly button showing up from her crop top. She was enjoying the light caress of air on her belly. Tara turned on one side with her head resting on her arm while her long black tresses scattered carelessly on the light blue bedsheet like sea waves. She was quoting David Levithan and talking to herself as if reassuring, “yes the shape has changed, and the love is lost, I have to let go.”
She was not happy with the new Shekhar and was only putting up for Roohie’s sake. But today he crossed all limits. Tara knew Roohie had heard the venom Shekhar just spitted out. She knew Roohie was heartbroken. For the sake of Roohie she must take a decision now. Tara still loved Shekhar but she has started to feel more and more lost with him around. They have ruined each other by being together. They have destroyed each other’s dreams. And now they were about to destroy Roohie’s dreams.
In such moments mind wanders into depths of subconscious and reveals things which you didn’t even know existed or may be never wanted to accept that it existed. She was missing him. How she wished Aryan could hold her tight and whisper into her ears, “It will be all right. I am here besides you”. She wanted to fight with him, shout, throw things at him, go mad for she knew he will not let her go and hold her tight.
Why she made all the wrong choices in relationships?
The mascara smudged tears rolled down her cheeks. She started to feel light and free.

“Find out everything about Shekhar Dutta. I want to know his weakness. Follow him like a shadow. Get me anything about him that I can use to play with his mind”, Aryan clicked on the send button and gave a narcissistic smile.
Only Shekhar could do this job. There’s a fine line between genius and insanity and Shekhar had erased it. He is a psycho-genius. He is the attacker Aryan desperately wanted for the success of Code Red. “Shekhar loves challenges. All I have to do is play with his mind and get my task done”, connived Aryan.
